The Mirage

Synopsis

I made this short film during the COVID-19 lockdown to highlight the troubles that migrant workers and labourers went through when the lockdown was suddenly announced without any designated aid or employment opportunities for these workers. The film is in the form of a documentary, and it takes a closer look at the personal lives of such workers and the challenges they had to face, from basic necessities like food, to broader challenges like their children’s health and education.
