Synopsis
The story follows Selena, a 14-year-old girl who plays football as the only female member of a boys’ team. When a new girl named Hannah joins the team, Selena observes a shift in the boys’ behavior towards Hannah, leading her to feel insecure about her position within the team and increasingly conscious of her own female body compared to Hannah’s. As tensions rise and Selena is faced with a choice between tolerating the boys’ behavior or standing up for Hannah, she ultimately takes action by kicking the ball at a boy in defense of her teammate, leading to a moment of reconciliation between Selena and Hannah as Selena realizes they are not so different after all.
